Policy & Clearance

Deposits, cancellations, reschedules, no-shows. Please read to avoid fees

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable between clients

  • Clients must enter valid card information into the Vagaro system

  • Clients are responsible for scheduling and remembering their appointment date the moment the session has been booked

  • Please give at least a 48 hour notice before the beginning of your appointment or you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% the price of your scheduled appointment

  • You are allowed one reschedule for initial appointment and it must be booked in 24 hours of cancelling. After 24 hours, you forfeit your deposit and a new deposit must be paid to book again

  • A late arrival (more than 20 minutes) without a phone call notification will be treated as a No-Show

  • A late arrival with phone call notification will be treated as a late cancellation or reschedule if we are unable to perform service in the time remaining

  • No-shows, will be charged 100% of service to the card on file

  • All No-shows and anyone with two or more late cancellations will be required to pre-pay for future appointments and may be banned from booking

General policies

  • Appointment arrival: Please arrive at least 5 mins prior to your appointment so that we may start your service on time or even a little early. Stay in your car and text us when you are here

  • Quiet, please: Please turn cell phones to silent

  • Children, pets, guests: To maintain a serene and safe atmosphere, we do not allow children or pets to come to your appointment. Studio space is very small. Adult guests (18 and over) are discouraged. Only exception are translators and service animals

  • Forms of payment: We accept all major credit, debit cards and cash. Checks are not accepted. Cash is preferred, please bring exact amount as change may not be available

  • Returns or exchanges: All sales and services are final. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable

  • Discounts and sales: Only referral and review credits can be merged. Cannot be merged with special promotions. A full first and last name at time of booking must be provided to receive credit

  • Communicating your preferences: We ask that you let us know during your service if you have any questions or concerns or if you are uncomfortable for any reason. We will do our best to address them

Medical clearance

Individuals with the following may be unable to receive permanent makeup services. We are unauthorized to give medical advice. If you believe you have a medical issue that may prevent you from receiving our services, please consult with your healthcare provider and get clearance. A doctor’s note will be needed and can be sent to sijoliestudio@gmail.com upon booking

  • Under 18 years-old

  • Had a previous reaction to a tattoo

  • Sick, cold, or flu

  • Actively positive with Covid-19

  • Allergic to any of the products we use during the service

  • Diabetes

  • Any type of autoimmune disease

  • Pregnant and lactating women (while nursing)

  • Epilepsy

  • Vegan (must have normal iron levels)

  • Currently taking blood-thinning medications (e.g., coumadin, heparin, aspirin or related)

  • Currently on cortisone, steroids, accutane, retin-a, renova

  • Have skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, undiagnosed rashes and blisters

  • Allergic to makeup and colors or easily trigger post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation

  • Any type of blood disorders and heart conditions

  • Blood disorders such as hemophilia, sickle cell anemia and platelet disorder

  • Use of Latisse or other brow serums within the last 6 months

  • Botox, peels, microdermabrasion, lasers within 1 month of procedure

  • Keloids or hypertrophic scarring

  • Severe acne on or around the treated area

  • Chemotherapy. Please wait at least 6 months post-chemotherapy
